Home Health Aide Medicare/Insurance: Assistance with bathing and dressing. Patients may receive assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc) so long as they also require skilled services.
Home Health Aide Private Pay: Private Duty services include, but are not limited to: assistance with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), light housekeeping, companionship, meal planning, preparation, and feeding.

Patient Needs for Home Health
- New or acute diagnosis
- Medication change or medication non-compliance issues
- Changes in existing medical conditions
- Situations requiring assistance or teaching from a nurse or therapist
- Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring
- Need for home care assistance following discharge from hospital, nursing home, rehab facility, emergency room, after a visit to an outpatients facility or physicians office
- Wound care (including wound vac’s)
- Instruction in nebulizer treatments
- Diabetic care, administration of insulin, and teaching
- Injection administration i.e. vitamin B12, antibiotics, insulin
- Need for any skilled procedures which cannot be performed independently by the patient or the caregiver
- Pre and post-surgery evaluation and teaching
- Mental assessments and depression evaluations and monitoring
- Home safety and fall risk assessments
- Foley care, ostomy care, peg and g tube care
- Weakness, abnormity of gait, physical decline requiring therapies
- Lymphedema therapy, vestibular rehab, canalith repositioning, low vision program
